Uno degli obiettivi principali di questo progetto è quello di realizzare un rapporto stretto ed essenziale tra la casa e il giardino in modo tale che entrambi siano l’estensione l’uno dell’altro. Questa idea si sviluppa attraverso una composizione volumetrica formata da tre volumi “sparsi” in tutto il giardino, allineati e collegati da portici.

Il primo volume, ad est, contiene il garage e si sviluppa su un solo piano, il secondo invece è il vero nucleo abitativo: soggiorno e cucina a piano terra, uniti da una scala centrale, bagno e zone ripostiglio nonchè spazio per l’impiantistica e al piano primo tre camere, un bagno, lavanderia e guardaroba.

E’ la centralità della scala che contribuisce a bilanciare la pianta di tutto il progetto e di conseguenza gli ambienti abitativi.

Il terzo blocco invece, più a ovest contiene un magazzino, un bagno e un ripostiglio e anch’esso, come il primo blocco, si sviluppa su un solo piano.

Gli spazi creati tra i volumi sono coperti, cosi da riparare ambienti diversi, sono aperti al giardino e offrono un’atmosfera molto diversa, molto più legata alla zona del giardino che alla casa. Il primo di questi ambienti interstiziali, tra il garage e l’abitazione, funge da ingresso. Il secondo, più grande, tra la zona vivibile e il magazzino è un portico usufruibile nei mesi caldi come pranzo all’aperto o zona relax.

L’abitazione è tutta circondata dal giardino

La casa è composta da tre cubi di muratura in mattoni di diverse altezze, con serramenti in legno alluminio di color scuro, frangisole orizzontali e scossaline in lamiera verniciata. Sono pochi ed essenziali i materiali usati, sempre legati alla tradizione, ma reinterpretati dal punto di vista delle forme, che comunque restano primitive e non troppo caratterizzanti per un contesto del genere.

 

One of the main goals of this work is to realize a strong and essential relationship between the house and the garden, so that they can be complementary each other.

This idea is developed through a volumetric composition made by three volumes “strewn” in the garden, aligned and linked to the porticos.

The first volume, at the East, includes the garage and is developed on a single floor.

The second one is the real housing unit: the living room and the kitchen at the ground floor, united by a central stair, then a bathroom and the utility room area, and at the first floor three bedrooms, a bathroom, the laundry and the coatroom.

The central placemente of the stairs is important because it gives balance to the map and the spaces of the whole house.

The third part instead is placed at the West, is composed by a single floor, and contains a storage room, a bathroom and an utility room.

All the spaces created by the volumes are covered, so all the different locations are protected, and are opened towards the garden offering another kind of atmosphere, more connected to the garden than to the house.

The first of these interstitial spaces, located between the garage and the house, has the role of entrance. The second one, wider, is placed between the living area and the storage, and is a portico that can be used for lunch or relax area during the warmer months.

The entire building is sorrounded by the garden.

The house is composed by three cubes in stonework, with bricks of different height, with doors and windows in aluminium dark wood, horizontal louvered openings and flashings in painted tinplate.

The materials used here are a few, and they are essential, always connected with tradition but restyled in the shape, that at the end remain primitive and not so much invasive in this context.
